Xantaro Group acquires German IT firm anykey GmbH

anykey GmbH, an IT system house founded in 1999 and based in Troisdorf, Germany, is now part of the Xantaro Group. With this step, the two companies are combining their service and security expertise to offer customers in Germany and Europe comprehensive solutions for IT infrastructure, data centers and networks.

anykey GmbH gains access to technical expertise in networking and SOC, along with an expanded portfolio of services and solutions. "This adds important building blocks to our offering to our customers," said Stephan Wirtz, managing director of anykey GmbH.

Integrating with the Xantaro Group allows anykey to strategically enhance its service portfolio, providing customers with a broader, single-source range of comprehensive solutions. "Going forward, customers will benefit from the combination of our in-depth infrastructure expertise and the Xantaro Group's extensive know-how across network, security and managed services," Wirtz said.

anykey supports customers across all industries — including those with their own data centers, manufacturers and partners — by providing expertise in information security, server and storage systems, databases, high availability and risk management. Our comprehensive service range spans project planning, consulting, architecture, procurement, implementation, support and managed services.

For the Xantaro Group, the integration of anykey GmbH is a decisive step towards further expanding its range of security services.

"With anykey, we are gaining another partner that brings in-depth expertise in SOC and IT security. This complements our existing offerings for customers in the enterprise, carrier, ISP and data center operator sectors," explained Jürgen Städing, COO of the Xantaro Group. "Together, we can offer our customers future-proof, automated and highly scalable security solutions."

The Xantaro Group portfolio consists of Xantaro GmbH, Xantaro UK Ltd, NetDescribe GmbH, the nicos group of companies   and includes high-performance networks and 24/7 managed services for SOC, NOC, SD-WAN/SASE and maintenance. The integration of anykey significantly strengthens the Group’s security offering, particularly for customers across Germany and the U.K.

The partnership is based on the idea that technical expertise and service quality are crucial for the long-term success of IT and network projects. Customers receive bundled services that include infrastructure, security services and network management. The combination of Xantaro's network expertise and anykey's experience in data centers and security enables the group to deliver solutions that are highly scalable, reliable and efficient.

"We focus on transparency, practicality and measurable benefits for our customers. The partnership with Xantaro is a logical step towards implementing these principles even more effectively," Wirtz said.

Städing said: "With anykey, we are not only expanding our portfolio, we are also strengthening our ability to implement highly complex projects from planning to operation from a single source."

Over the years, anykey has built a strong reputation as a specialist in Oracle Engineered Systems, backup and disaster recovery, and automation concepts (DevSecOps). The company is highly regarded across Europe for its extensive project experience and exceptional service quality.

Since 2024, anykey has offered its proprietary solution, the Managed SIEM Appliance, providing standardized security monitoring and automated security processes. The integration of anykey into the Xantaro Group now facilitates the complete interlinking of data center infrastructure, security solutions and network management.

anykey will continue to operate under its existing company name, supplemented by the descriptor, "Xantaro Group." The operational cooperation will encompass strategic projects, shared customer support and coordinated service offerings. The primary goal is to achieve seamless integration while preserving the anykey brand.
