AMD, Cisco, HUMAIN team to deploy 1GW of AI infrastructure

AMD, Cisco and HUMAIN unveiled a new joint venture which aims to deploy up to 1 GW of AI infrastructure by 2030, starting with an initial 100 MW in Saudi Arabia which is set to be rolled out in 2026.

The trio will serve as exclusive technology partners, deepening a multi-year strategic collaboration announced in May. HUMAIN will supply modern data center capacity, while AMD is contributing its Instinct MI450 Series GPUs and Cisco critical infrastructure solutions.

“Our expanded partnership with HUMAIN, together with AMD, will mark a pivotal moment in accelerating Saudi Arabia’s AI infrastructure," Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins said in a statement. "By providing secure, scalable, critical infrastructure for HUMAIN’s up to 1 GW buildout, Cisco will help the Kingdom turn its vision for a digitally advanced, AI-powered economy into a reality.”
