Deutsche Telekom teamed with Nvidia to build an Industrial AI Cloud for Germany as part of a one billion Euro partnership.
The new offering, featuring a sovereign German stack with physical infrastructure from DT and business software from SAP, will go live in Q1 2026. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang hailed the project as the "first Industrial AI Cloud and one of Germany’s largest GPU deployments."
DT said it is working to develop an even larger sovereign ecosystem for its Industrial cloud and already has about 10 companies on board, including Siemens, Agile Robots, Wandelbots, Quantum Systems, PhysicsX and Perplexity.
"AI is a huge opportunity. It will help to improve our products and strengthen our European strengths," DT CEO Tim Höttges said in a statement. "In just six months, we turn an idea into real AI computing power, Made for Germany."
